Rang-ay CEO gets award

MANILA, Philippines - Rang-ay Bank president and chief executive officer Ives Q. Nisce was conferred with the Pammadayaw Award by the City of San Fernando, La Union last March 20 at the Diego Silang Hall of the Provincial Capital of La Union.

The Pammadayaw Award is the highest award given by the City of San Fernando. The award is given to individuals who have rendered exceptionally meritorious services to the city and is presented during the city’s celebration of its foundation anniversary. Under his leadership, the bank based in La Union became one of the biggest rural banks in the country and has grown to 20 banking offices in the region and the Cordilleras.

It is a recipient of various awards including the Outstanding Rural Bank of the Year Award from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Gold Award of Excellence from the former Equitable-PCI Bank, and Most Outstanding Financial Institution of the Countryside Loan Fund by the Land Bank of the Philippines.
