Risk mgmt book includes Globe

MANILA, Philippines - The Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) has included Globe Telecommunications Inc. (Globe) in its first project entitled “Governance, Risk Management and Control: Internal Audit Leading Practices, Case Studies in Asia.” The Globe experience was one of the 11 case studies from Asia on internal audit leading practices that was included in the first book published by ACIIA.

The book explores the operation of internal auditing in leading organizations in the Asian region to help other companies build a strong internal auditing function within their organization.

The other case studies in the book were by Woori Bank of Korea, the Australian Taxation Office, Shin Corp. Plc of Thailand, the Philippines’ Department of Health, Delta Electronics, Inc., Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd., Telekom Malaysia, Korean Water Resources Corp., China Mobile Communications Corp., and China National Offshore Oil Corp.
