Personal finance seminars

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Personal Finance Advisers Philippines Corp. (PFAPC) is holding two personal finance seminars on Oct. 24 and Nov. 14, both at the One San Miguel Avenue building in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Among the topics to be discussed are: four steps to boosting savings; effective ways to set aside emergency funds; how to detect scams; the responsible way to handle credit cards; how zero percent interest works; why expenses seem to be always greater than earnings; what practices to avoid when buying insurance; the lowdown on mutual funds, UITFs, VULs and pre-need plans; and, time-tested yet simple investment strategies.

For reservations, call 2168151. PFAPC is an independent financial adviser that promotes consumption, debt, risk and wealth management (CDRW) drivers of personal finance. It received last July the “international best provider” recognition given by the Personal Finance Employee Education Foundation, a US-based non-profit charitable foundation.

The two prominent personalities behind PFAPC are Efren Ll.Cruz and J. Randell Tiongson.
