FSC boosts financial transparency

-

MANILA, Philippines - Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) is reportedly drafting new rules to enhance corporate transparency that will require financial institutions to reveal salaries and perks given to their senior executives and board directors.

The local bankers association has approved an amendment to its membership regulations to require all member banks to set up a salary supervisory commission, with their independent board members as conveners.
