New tax treaties discussed on March 11

MANILA, Philippines - The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (Finex) is inviting the general public to attend a half-day seminar on the Optional standard deduction, new tax treaties and other tax updates on March 11, Wednesday, 1 p.m. 5 p.m. at Meeting Room 5, Dusit Thani Manila, Makati City. 

The speakers are: lawyers Marissa O. Cabreros, head revenue executive assistant, Legal Taxpayers Service, Bureau of Internal Revenue and Lina P. Figueroa, tax director, Punongbayan and Araullo.

The seminar fee is only P2,000 for FINEX member; and P2,500 for Non-FINEX member inclusive of food, seminar materials and certificate.
