IPVG subsidiary teams up with Chinatrust

Payment services firm i-Pay Commerce Ventures (i-PCV) has teamed up with Chinatrust (Philippines) Commercial Bank Corp. for the issuance of a co-branded debit card called i-CASH Visa Cards.i-CASH is a payment solution designed by i-PCV for corporate clients for cash distribution and individuals who receive remittances from abroad. 

i-CASH Visa cardholders can use ATMs nationwide without the need to open and maintain a local bank account; securely load remittances straight into the card, plus make easy purchases at VISA and BancNet-accredited shops and establishments and pay bills online easily.

“Partnering with Chinatrust is a key step in achieving our strategic direction to reach local and international communities. By combining the i-CASH money management functionalities with Chinatrust, owning an i-CASH Visa card will bring convenience and a rewarding experience to the cardholder,” said Alejandro James Chiongbian, president of i-PCV.

A non-bank remittance company certified by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), i-PCV is the payment services subsidiary of publicly listed information technology company, IPVG Corp. It is dedicated to delivering better, faster and more cost-effective payment processing services to various individual and corporate users in the Philippines and abroad. These services include international remittances, processing of online credit card payments, issuance of co-branded debit cards, and loyalty programs. The new i-Cash Visa debit card will provide cardholders more access to their funds through Chinatrust’s 23 branches and BancNet-supported ATMs nationwide.
