Rang-ay Bank opens 17th branch

Rang-ay Bank has opened its 17th banking office in the municipality of Magsingal, Ilocos Sur. It is likewise the fifth in the province in addition to branches in Vigan, Burgos, Candon and Sta. Cruz.

In various stages of completion are branches to be located in Narvacan and Tagudin in Ilocos Sur, Rosales in Pangasinan and Rosario in La Union.

Rang-ay is the biggest and most progressive rural bank in Region 1 and the Cordilleras, and a member of the Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP).

Rang-ay Bank president and chief executive officer Ives Q. Nisce said that the Magsingal branch will likewise cater to the adjoining municipalities of Sinait, Cabugao, San Juan, Sto. Domingo and San Ildefonso.

Nisce hopes the new branch will contribute to the marked progress of Magsingal which is presently undergoing massive infrastructure development as evidenced by its new municipal hall, its new public market where Rang-ay Magsingal Branch is located, and many road and building projects of the municipality

“We are commited to the people of Magsingal by offering efficient and quality banking services not previously available to the town,” he added.

As a full service bank, the branch offers various banking services such as deposit taking in terms of savings, checking and time deposits; salary loans to LGU personnel, barangay officials, DepEd teachers; and micro, small and medium entrepreneurs.

It will also handle cash remittances sent through Western Union, Uniteller, RCBC Telemoney, BDO Remit, Pinoy Express Padala, Globe G-cash and Globe Advice and Pay, to facilitate access to funds coming from abroad, as thee are no other remittance facilities available previously in Magsingal.
