East West unfurls special products

East West Banking Corp. (East West Bank) is offering two special products that offer superior convenience and higher yields.

The Savings Maximizer, which allows clients to enjoy their savings with yields up to four-percent interest per annum; and the ChequeMax Plus, which has a tiered interest rate that can go to as high as three percent every year as the balance goes up.

For a minimum initial deposit of P50,000, clients can open their Savings Maximizer Account and take advantage of higher yields as their savings increase.

With the tiered pricing scheme, interest rates are accurately computed based on average daily balances and may be adjusted according to market rates at the start of each month. The account comes with a passbook and an optional ATM card for individual account holders for added convenience.

The ChequeMax Plus only requires an initial deposit of P20,000 and earns interest higher than that of a regular savings account depending on the amount balance.

ChequeMax Plus individual depositors are also provided with ATM cards for them to easily access their funds, withdraw from their accounts, transfer funds, and even pay bills via any BancNet ATM. The account also comes with an optional passbook for convenient record keeping. ChequeMax Plus’ single account monitoring makes it better than an Automatic Transfer Facility because clients need not maintain two separate accounts.

For both Savings Maximizer and ChequeMax Plus, access to one’s account is not a problem as clients can withdraw cash anytime of the day via ATM.
