Yuchengco’s asset management group offers cross-currency strategy

-
With its guarantee of professional fund management, diversified investments, and access to high-caliber financial tools, mutual funds still remain as a promising investment outlet.

Launched in October of 2004, the Grepalife Income Fund (GFIF) is the only peso bond mutual fund in the country, which employs a cross-currency investment strategy. The GFIF was incorporated with the required P50-million seed capital.

In just six months, GFIF expanded its net assets by six times to over P300 million (largely through share sales), making it the third best-sold fund for the two-month period ended February 2005.

Adopting the slogan "We Give More WEIGHT to Your Peso," GFIF investors enjoy the service of full time investment experts, instant diversification on investments, liquidity, affordability, and convenience. But that’s not all; investors also enjoy more practical insurance benefits such as Personal Accident Insurance and Hospital Income Benefit. And if other companies reward for spending, GFIF investors are rewarded for saving and investing via a Rewards Program.

The Grepalife Asset Management Corp. (GAMC) is the investment manager, principal distributor, and administrator.

GAMC, which is capitalized at twice the minimum requirement for mutual fund managers, is backed by a deep bench of experts within the Yuchengco Group of Companies. These experts, who come from many disciplines, boast of excellent teamwork as well as the utmost dedication to their craft.
