Philam Plans holds business confab on Jan. 15

Noted speaker Antonio Ma. "Tony" Villena is the plenary speaker for Philam Plans’ upcoming business conference at the Westin Philippine Plaza from Jan. 15 to 16, 2002.

Villena is a much sought-after speaker both in the Philippines and abroad, conducting seminars on salesmanship and marketing success attitudes, customer service, work values and attitudes, organizational culture development, management and leadership, among others. He is currently the board chairman, managing director and chief trainer of AFV Consulting International.

Villena will be joined by other noted speakers Jose Angelico Gonzales, Silvia Alzona, and Philamlife’s agency manager and GAMA Management Awardee Lourdes del Mundo and executive vice president and Philam chief marketing officer Jesus Alfonso Hofileña.

Adopting the theme "Adapt, Improvise, Grow: Overcoming Obstacles and Creating Opportunities in an Uncertain Environment," the conference aims to equip Philam Plans’ sales associates with the necessary skills to excel even amidst challenging times.

Though an exciting event in itself, the business conference is just a part of the Philam Plans Lakbayan 2002 slated from Jan. 15-18, 2002. Other events lined up are: a kick-off sales rally, an exclusive luncheon for the elite members of the President’s Honor Club, an Annual Awards Night, a Teambuilding Activity, a Disney-inspired Talents’ Night and a Thanksgiving Mass.

Lakbayan is an annual event sponsored by Philam Plans Inc. to honor its top sales producers in the agency manager, district manager, unit manager and sales counselor categories. Last year, the event was held at the posh Shangri-La Resort Hotel in Mactan, Cebu. Next year, Philam Plans is bringing its awardees to Hong Kong.
