MLQU goes solar

MANILA, Philippines - Energy Secretary Carlos Jericho Petilla (center) leads the signing of an agreement to install solar PV net-metering facilities at Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) as part of the department’s goal to double the country’s total renewable energy installation of 5,521 megawatts by encouraging schools to use solar PV systems. Present during the signing are (from left) Propmech Corp. sales manager Epifanio Magpantay Jr., operations and project manager Mario Camacho, MLQU president  Eduardo de Los Angeles and School of Engineering dean Engr.
