Charoen Pokphand Group donates Bt20-m to Typhoon Haiyan survivors

MANILA, Philippines - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra (center), on behalf of the Thai government, receives a Bt20-million donation from Pakkhapon Ngamlak (left), senior executive vice president of Thai food conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group, as Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia looks on. The donation was turned over to Ambassador Garcia to help assist survivors of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines recently. The Thai people and Thai corporations extended  their condolences to the victims and jointly cooperated to donate both money and other  necessities to help in the restoration after the devastation brought by the typhoon.
