Agribiz show back on TV5
MANILA, Philippines - The Bagong Maunlad na Agrikultura (BMNA) TV show of the Department of Agriculture and National Agribusiness Corp. (Nabcor) will be again aired on its former station TV5. The multi-awarded agricultural show that just recently got its third Brightleaf Agricultural Journalism Award was first aired on Sept. 17, 2005.
The show will be aired every Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. and replayed on Aksyon TV during weekdays, and is hosted by Niña Taduran.
A joint project of the Department of Agriculture and Nabcor, the Maunlad na Agrikultura show features topics that enhances agricultural productivity and rural empowerment. It has consistently presented the agricultural programs, projects and policies of the government under the leadership of the agriculture department towards the improvement of rural economy and the advancement of the agriculture and fishery sectors.
The program has also given prominence to various agri-business ventures that have greatly affected impact to communities by providing livelihood and income generating activities.
For six years now, the BMNA consistently bring to every household the tales of men and woman who have successfully farmed, fished and continue to work conscientiously to improve their economic condition and strive hard to feed the nation.
