Environmental planner at Creba seminar

The Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Associations Inc. (CREBA) seminar on “Fundamentals of Real Estate Development” on Sept. 24 will take up the following topics: overview of the Philippine real estate situation; land and its development: highest and best lives; linkages among participants in the real estate planning and development process; finding your niche in the market; licenses and permits; laws and regulations; project ad corporate financing and investments; fund-sourcing and business matching; actual construction up to completion; property management, buyers’ financing, and marketing. This was announced by CREBA national president Reghis M. Romero II, chairman of R-II Group of Companies.

Prof. Roque A. Magno will be the speaker. He is former commissioner of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HULRB); professorial lecturer, University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning; overall program director of the CREBA-De La Salle College of Saint Benilde School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE) a diploma program in real estate management; past president-fellow of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP), and 2006 most outstanding professional in environmental planning award of the Professional Regulation Commission.
