SL Agritech offers promo

Hybrid rice farmers have a chance to go to Hong Kong or win some other handsome prizes being offered by SL Agritech Corp.

All a farmer needs to do is buy a 20-kilo sack of SL-8 hybrid seeds from any outlet of SL Agritech in municipal agricultural offices or in farmers’ cooperatives and he or she can win a free trip to Hong Kong, P15,000 cash, a hand tractor, a rice thresher or a water pump.

Josephine Dungca, marketing manager of SL Agritech, said for every cash purchase (seed reservation) of a 20-kilo sack of SL-8 seeds worth P2,500, the buyer is entitled to five raffle tickets, and for a P500 purchase (also for seed reservation), the buyer is entitled to one raffle ticket.

Titled “Entrada, arangkada ng SL Agritech-8H (Papremyo sa tag-araw),” the promo started last Aug. 25 and will end on Sept. 30. The draw will be held on Oct. 15 at the Department of Agriculture, Elliptical Rd., Diliman, Quezon City.

Dungca said SL Agritech is holding the promo “to promote the use of hybrid rice technology in every corner of the coutry.”
