Place orders for herbal medicines via LBC

Affordable and effective herbal supplements derived from the country’s plants and herbs will soon be made available to both rich and poor nationwide following a recent tie-up forged between one of the biggest cargo-handling companies and a leading herbal products manufacturer and distributor.

The tie-up makes LBC stations across the islands the ordering center for a wide range of herbal medicines and food supplements, said Ramon Tan, president of Carica Herbal Products Inc.

“It is the private sector’s pioneering answer to the problem of costly and ineffective drugs  that have made medical care beyond the reach of poor families today,” Tan, a former executive of multinational drug companies, pointed out.

He said orders for herbal products can be placed in any of the 680 LBC stations nationwide, bringing those products to no more than 12 kilometers away from each Filipino.

Every LBC station will have a menu of herbal products covering all known ailments in the Philippines and seen in posters on the different ailments addressed by Carica  products, plus a listing of products available for ordering, and flyers for individual information.

LBC and Carica estimated that a specific order can be delivered within 48 to 72 hours after a deposit is made by the buyer.
