CvSU launches Palengke-Alaman Center

-
The Cavite State University (CvSU) in cooperation with the municipal government of Indang; Department of Agrarian Reform – Indang; Southern Tagalog Agriculture and Resources Research and Development Consortium; and Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development, launched recently the Palengke Alaman Center, located at the Indang public market.

A one-stop information shop, the center aims to empower the farmers, rural women, out-of-school youths, processors, traders and entrepreneurs by making information and technology services accessible during critical times.

The Palengke-Alaman Center is open during Wednesday and Saturdays (market days) to serve the various groups of clientele. Personnel from CvSU, DAR-Indang, and Office of the Municipal Agriculturist man the center. They are headed by Lorna RC. Matel, head, Applied Communication Division, Extension Services and serving as center manager.
