New specialized magazine off the press

-
A new, bimonthly publication called LaMB Philippines, or short for Livestock and Meat Business, has been off the press recently and is now available in the market for P50 per copy. The specialized magazine is meant to serve as a sounding board and a partner of the multi-billion peso poultry, livestock, and meat industry as it pursued its goal of achieving sustainable growth in a borderless economy, according to its publisher, the Philippine Agricultural Journalists (PAJ) Inc.

The publication is unique in that it covers issues and development in the livestock and meat sector–from production to harvest, from processing to marketing. It also writes about people and institutions involved in the livestock and meat sector – the so-called movers and shakers of industry, said PAJ president Roman Floresca.

For its maiden issue, LaMB features Loida Nicolas Lewis’ pig business game plan and tells about Ed Soriano as a milkman. It also provides industry update, business tips, a comprehensive report on the foot-and-mouth disease, and other information that serve as tool for agribusiness players to arrived at sound and informed decision and let them get way ahead of the competition.

For details, call Cathryne Gonzales at (02) 920-4080 during office hours, or Fermin Diaz at 0919-7066499.
