Oil price rollback set in first week of September

MANILA, Philippines — Motorists will see lower pump prices in the first week of September as oil firms announced rollbacks effective Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Shell and Seaoil said the price adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m.
The following decreases will be implemented per liter:
Shell
- Gasoline: P0.30
- Diesel: P3.80
- Kerosene: P3.80
Seaoil
- Gasoline: P0.32
- Diesel: P3.83
- Kerosene: P3.84
The rollback follows two consecutive weeks of price increases. Last week, gasoline went up by P1.08 per liter, diesel by P2.31 and kerosene by P0.95.
Other oil firms have yet to announce their price adjustments as of writing.
