MANILA, Philippines — San Miguel Corp.’s hard liquor arm, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), continues to roll out new campaigns aimed at strengthening brand relevance and sustaining consumption growth for the year, following a strong start for 2026.

Despite a challenging operating environment, GSMI saw its first quarter net income rise by nine percent to P2.3 billion, with revenues improving by three percent year-on-year to P16.7 billion.

The company’s first quarter performance builds on its strong full-year 2025 results, in which it recorded its 12th consecutive year of volume growth and achieved a record 51-million cases sold.

“Even with cost pressures affecting the broader economy, we stayed focused and disciplined in execution, ultimately expanding our market share and further reinforcing our leadership in the domestic industry,” GSMI president and CEO Ramon Ang said.

GSMI said a key contributor to the company’s 2025 performance was the flagship Ginebra San Miguel campaign, “Kabayani Kita sa One Ginebra Nation,” together with the “Ginstanalo sa One Ginebra Nation” consumer promotion.
