ECCP elects pharma exec as first female president

MANILA, Philippines — Business group European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) has elected pharmaceutical executive Diana Edralin as its first Filipina and first female president.
In a statement, the ECCP said Edralin succeeds Paulo Duarte as president.
Edralin, who is currently the general manager of Roche Philippines, brings extensive experience in the health care sector to her new role.
Also elected as ECCP officers were Lars Wittig (IWG plc senior vice president APAC), Roman Menz (Republic Cement CEO) and Ruben Camba (ACCIONA managing director of Southeast Asia) as vice presidents; Albert Perez (Paul Morgann founder and CEO) as treasurer; Cesar Cruz (Cesar C. Cruz Partners Law Offices founder and managing partner) as corporate secretary; and Peter Calimag (Cesar C. Cruz Partners Law Offices partner) and Gerry Constantino as assistant corporate secretaries.
ECCP also welcomed Camba and Liher Urbizu (SAP Southeast Asia president and managing director) to its board of directors.
Continuing as ECCP board directors are Bernd Schneider (Raffles and Fairmont Makati area general manager for the Philippines); Tarang Gupta (Alaska Milk Corp. managing director); Juha-Pekka Hoikka (managing director and Airbus chief representative in the Philippines of Airbus Helicopters Philippines Inc.); Jaime Urquijo (Ayala Land urban estates group head) and Sandeep Uppal (HSBC Philippines president and CEO).
