SMX, 2GO partner for events logistics

MANILA, Philippines — SMX Convention Center of the SM Group is tapping 2GO, the largest integrated transportation and logistics solutions provider in the country, to reinforce logistics and shipping support for exhibitors, event organizers and corporate clients.

Through the partnership, 2GO’s logistics and sea travel capabilities will be integrated into SMX’s service offerings to provide exhibitors and organizers with seamless cargo movement, freight handling, transport solutions and customs brokerage services.

This will enable exhibitors from the Philippines and abroad to have access to end-to-end logistics support that will allow them to efficiently transport event materials, booth equipment, construction supplies and other cargo to SMX venues in Manila, Clark, Bacolod, Davao, SM Aura and the newly opened SMX Seaside Cebu.

“Through this collaboration with 2GO, we aim to elevate the exhibitor and organizer experience by providing more efficient logistics support and integrated services across our SMX venues nationwide,” SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. senior vice president for operations Walid Wafik said.

The partnership also opens opportunities for broader corporate logistics support, including logistics requirements for upcoming SMX developments and expansion projects nationwide.
