AbaCore putting up Ice World attraction

Richmond Mercurio - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Listed holding company AbaCore Capital Holdings Inc. is developing a new family-oriented attraction at its Montemaria tourism project in Batangas.

AbaCore’s Ice World is envisioned as a 2,000-square-meter indoor attraction designed to accommodate 300 guests at a time where visitors will be immersed in an environment that features ice slides, ice villages and ice sports activities.

AbaCore said the project is part of the company’s ongoing efforts in developing Montemaria into a leading destination for spiritual reflections and family gatherings.

“Ice World is designed to complement Montemaria’s one-of-a-kind environment, offering fun and interactive experiences for all visitors,” Montemaria Resort president Guoan Wu said.

“Our goal is to provide a unique attraction that appeals to families, tourists and pilgrims, creating lasting memories while appreciating the natural and cultural beauty of the estate,” Wu said.

Montemaria is home to the Mother of All Asia-Tower of Peace, one of the tallest statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which rises 98 meters.

Recently, Montemaria also launched its 9D Marine Adventure ride, an attraction designed to highlight the estate’s proximity to the ecologically rich Verde Island Passage.

“These developments reflect our commitment to growing Montemaria into a destination where faith and family bonding come together,” AbaCore chairman and president Antonio Victoriano Gregorio III said.

“We see Montemaria as a destination where visitors come together not only for spiritual reflection but also for creating beautiful memories with their loved ones,” Gregorio said.
