MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), in line with this year’s staging of Franchise Asia Philippines 2026 Conference and Expo on April 21 to 26 at the SMX Convention Center, will bring back one of its flagship capacity-building activities – the prestigious Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Program, a globally recognized credential under the International Franchise Association.

While the conference and expo serve as the perfect platform for networking, market discovery, and learning insights from world-class leaders, the CFE program scheduled on April 21 to 22 at the AIM Conference Center Makati offers a structured, high-level education designed to drive professional growth and strengthen leadership capabilities.

Anchored on a highly relevant topic: “Level Up Your Financial Coaching,” this comprehensive program goes far beyond theories. It will equip franchisors and franchise executives with proven financial coaching methodologies, covering pathway planning to multi-unit expansion strategies and the right tools to guide franchisees from survival to significant growth.

This year’s CFE program will feature Rod Bristol, director for business development of Profit Soup and a globally recognized franchise financial expert who specializes in teaching how to master the number side of a business and make better financial decisions. As an in-demand master financial presenter, he has delivered programs throughout the US and Canada, Puerto Rico, India, the Philippines, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

“At a time where rising costs and tighter margins challenged business sustainability, this year’s program is something that they (business leaders) should definitely consider,” PFA vice chairman Bing Sibal-Limjoco said. “It has been designed to elevate the way a leader thinks about financial performance. It goes deeper than just understanding numbers. It’s about how we can utilize these numbers and use them to strategically drive growth, improve success rates, and future-proof your business.”

Often described as a mini-MBA program in franchise management, CFE also enhances credibility, sharpens decision-making capabilities, and connects its enrollees with a powerhouse network of industry peers. Most importantly, graduates earn a CFE designation after, a mark of excellence and leadership in franchising.
