MANILA, Philippines —  Listed connectivity provider PT&T Corp.  will undergo a strategic leadership transition to boost operational continuity and ensure disciplined execution of its priorities.

In a stock exchange filing, PT&T said its board approved a leadership appointment to ensure a seamless transition and sustained momentum across its key initiatives.

Jeffrey Julian, the company’s current vice president–chief technical officer (CTO), has been appointed as acting president effective Feb. 15.

He will concurrently fulfill both roles as acting president and vice president–CTO while PT&T’s board completes the selection process for a new president and CEO.

His appointment comes following the resignation of Angel Mercado as the company’s acting president and senior vice president–chief revenue officer   due to personal reasons.

PT&T said its board expressed confidence that Julian’s appointment supports continuity and stability, while also reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering on its operational priorities while maintaining strong governance and execution standards.

Julian has served as PT&T’s vice president–CTO since June 2019 and continues to lead the company’s technical operations with  focus on innovation, efficiency and end-to-end project delivery.
