RFM to finish year strong as 9-month earnings expand

MANILA, Philippines — Listed food and beverage company RFM Corp. expects to end the year on a high note following a double-digit growth in profitability from January to September.
RFM reported a net income of P1.25 billion during the nine-month period, up by 12 percent year-on-year, with gross revenues of P15.23 billion.
“Despite the typhoons and floods, we expect our fourth quarter sales and income to finish strongly,” RFM CEO Jose Ma. Concepcion III said.
“We have good momentum in our core business segments of ice cream, pasta, milk, flour and buns that help deliver growth and strong cashflows,” he said.
According to Concepcion, RFM’s profit in the first three quarters sustains the company’s healthy yearly cash dividends.
RFM’s board of directors approved yesterday a cash dividend of P500 million or P0.14839 per share, payable on Dec. 19, to stockholders of record as of Nov. 24.
The latest declaration brings the company’s total cash dividends this year to P1.5 billion, equivalent to P0.44517 per share, representing a 10.3 percent dividend yield based on a P4.30 per RFM share market price.
RFM paid a total of P1.3 billion in dividends in 2024.
“The P1.5 billion dividends for 2025 represent one of the highest dividend payouts for RFM, and this reflects our commitment to also share with our shareholders the income and liquidity of the company,” Concepcion said.
RFM sells Selecta Milk, Fiesta and Royal Pasta, flour and buns as well as ice cream through a joint venture with the country’s leading ice cream company selling Magnum, Cornetto and Selecta ice cream.
