MANILA, Philippines — Metro Pacific Health Corp. (MPH) has expanded its hospital network to 29 with its investment in Tanza Specialists Medical Center (TSMC).

MPH president Augie Palisoc Jr. said the company’s investment in Tanza marks its 18th provincial partnership and the third in the province of Cavite.

“We are deeply grateful for the continuing trust of hospital owners and doctors nationwide who have chosen to partner with Metro Pacific Health. Their confidence enables us to further develop and expand health care services in their respective communities,” Palisoc said.

“As our network grows, more hospital owners are approaching us to collaborate, inspired by the significant improvements we bring to the hospitals we invest in,” he added.

Strategically located along Daang Amaya in Tanza, TSMC is well positioned to serve the rapidly expanding communities nearby and be the health care leader in its side of Cavite.

Similar with its previous partnerships, MPH has developed an ambitious strategic roadmap for TSMC geared toward unlocking its full potential.

MPH said it plans to enhance operational efficiency, elevate clinical standards and deliver improved patient experience at TSMC.

“Joining the Metro Pacific Health network opens new opportunities for Tanza Specialists to grow and serve our patients better,” Ronald de Roxas, former president and one of the hospital’s founding members, said.

“On behalf of our founders, we are confident that this partnership will enable us to expand our facilities, introduce advanced technologies and provide even greater care to our community,” he said.

With the addition of TSMC, MPH now operates 11 hospitals in the National Capital Region, 10 in Luzon, two in the Visayas and six in Mindanao.

The 29 hospitals under MPH have a combined capacity of 4,700 beds, supported by 12,500 doctors and 24,000 health care staff, serving approximately 5.2 million patients annually.
