Bounty Fresh invests in youth, tech as Philippines farm sector expands
MANILA, Philippines — Bounty Fresh Group Holdings Inc. said it is continuing to invest in youth programs and technology to help modernize the country’s agriculture sector, an industry that has continued to expand amid growing demand and evolving industry needs.
The firm behind the famous Chooks-to-Go rotisserie chain said it offers programs such as annual technical training, management trainee programs and internal certifications in farm management and veterinary science to equip young workers with technical and leadership skills.
“This commitment to continuous learning allows us to adopt global best practices, ensuring we can deliver on our promise to provide the best animal health care and a reliable food supply for Filipino families,” said Bounty Fresh associate vice president for animal health Mark Anthony Gabriel.
The company said it also provides scholarships through its Bounty Cares Foundation to students enrolled in agriculture-related courses, helping to cultivate the next generation of professionals capable of driving innovation and strengthening food security.
Careers in the sector now extend beyond traditional farming to roles in veterinary science, feed formulation, cold storage management, logistics, research and development and supply chain operations.
Specialized roles in the field include global positioning system (GPS) stockmen and sexors, who monitor transport efficiency and determine chick gender early for farm management.
These positions combine science, precision and innovation with practical agricultural work, said the company.
Through these programs, Bounty Fresh said it is helping redefine agriculture as a high-impact, technology-driven and innovation-focused career, offering meaningful opportunities for youth while supporting national food security and sector growth.
