Razon unit offers scholarship programs for Benilde students

MANILA, Philippines — Motivated by their mutual goal to hone the future generation of industry leaders, Sureste Properties Inc. strengthens its partnership with the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) to assist qualified enrollees who wish to pursue a career in cybersecurity, business analytics and international hospitality.

Through this collaboration, Sureste Properties, a subsidiary of Razon-led Bloomberry Resorts Corp., continues to grant full scholarships to selected students. This includes fees and allowances to cover tuition, laboratory, library, internet and miscellaneous expenses for 10 trimesters in three years.

Chosen candidates may enroll to pursue the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Business Intelligence and Analytics and Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management.

The Cybersecurity Program shapes the technical and managerial expertise of learners in the areas of information security policy and governance, digital forensics, data protection, security threat assessment and incident response.

The Business Intelligence and Analytics Program, on the other hand, offers an opportunity to explore and maximize the power of data with the use of industry-grade tools and applications to enhance the economic sustainability and competitiveness of an organization.

International Hospitality Management, the first international double bachelor’s degree under the new transnational guidelines of the Commission on Higher Education, allows students to earn both Philippine and French degrees. They likewise benefit from Vatel International Business School’s worldwide network of institutions recognized for global programs in business, hotel and tourism management.

The partnership was formalized through a memorandum of agreement signed by Sureste Properties vice president for human resources Maria Rosario Razon, together with SVP for Property CFO Arcan Lat and DLS-CSB president Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC.
