MANILA, Philippines — Mapúa Malayan Digital College (MMDC) has partnered with major industry players to offer financial literacy training, scholarships and career development opportunities aimed at empowering working Filipinos nationwide.

In partnership with Ayala-led Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and international business process outsourcing (BPO) companies such as iQor and PanAsiatic Solutions, it aims to expand access to financial education, scholarship grants and professional development.

“The reality is that most of our students are trying to balance work and studies while managing limited resources,” Jenny Chua, MMDC vice president, said.

“Our collaboration with BPI is a proactive step toward equipping them with essential financial skills to make informed financial decisions, a skill every professional should learn,” she added.

In partnership with BPI Securities, MMDC is rolling out Step Up sa Pera, a financial literacy workshop series designed to help working students manage budgets alongside their jobs and studies.

Beyond financial literacy, MMDC has partnered with iQor and PanAsiatic Solutions to offer upskilling opportunities for both their employees and MMDC students, enhancing career growth and bridging education with industry needs.

MMDC will offer continuing education scholarships to selected iQor employees, providing them with partial financial support for their studies.

Likewise, over 4,000 PanAsiatic Solutions employees are eligible for similar scholarships and exclusive discounts on MMDC’s certification programs.

MMDC students, in turn, will gain access to internships and potential employment opportunities at iQor and PanAsiatic Solutions, allowing them to apply their academic learning in real-world settings.
