Jollibee opens first store in Oregon

MANILA, Philippines — Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) continues its global expansion, with the Asian food conglomerate opening its first Jollibee store in Oregon.
The Jollibee Hillsboro store marks the latest step in the group’s North American growth journey.
The new branch is Jollibee’s 105th store in North America.
It follows Jollibee’s recent openings in Tacoma, Washington in October 2023 and in Seattle, Washington in June 2024.
JFC said that more locations are slated to open in key US cities including San Francisco, California and Queens, New York.
“We are very excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Pacific Northwest with the opening of our very first Jollibee in the State of Oregon – it has been a dream for a long time and we’re thrilled to finally make it a reality in Hillsboro,” Honeybee Foods Corp. business group head Maribeth Dela Cruz said.
“The Portland metro area has a vibrant food scene that embraces international flavors, so we can’t wait to introduce our joyfully unique dining experience to the area’s residents and visitors, especially those seeking new and exciting culinary experiences,” Dela Cruz said.
Jollibee is the flagship brand of JFC, one of the world’s fastest-growing restaurant companies.
In 2024, Jollibee was voted “the best fast-food fried chicken in America” by USA Today and was cited as the second fastest-growing restaurant brand in the world by Brand Finance.
As of end-March, JFC’s store network stood at 9,935 composed of 3,393 stores in the Philippines and 6,542 abroad.
The group plans to spend between P18 billion and P21 billion this year to open 700 to 800 stores across brands and regions.
