Century Properties venturing into Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — Century Properties Group Inc. (CPG), of the Antonio family, is making its foray into Mindanao this year through its first-home residential business, PHirst Park Homes Inc.
CPG president and CEO Marco Antonio said that PHirst would embark on an aggressive expansion over the next five years in line with the company’s vision of becoming a leading enabler of first-time homebuyers in the country.
Antonio said that PHirst plans to launch around 10 projects over the next two years, including its first development in Mindanao, set for the third quarter of 2025.
“The next five years will see continued growth and sustained launches from PHirst,” he said.
PHirst president Ricky Celis said the plan for the first-home residential business is to continue launching in targeted growth centers and emerging economic hubs.
He said that seven out of the 17 administrative regions in the Philippines will be the main focus of PHirst’s socialized, economic, affordable and mid-income residential housing developments.
“While most of these are independent gated communities, PHirst will also pursue more township projects after its successful rollout of PHirst Centrale in Batulao and PHirst Centrale Hermosa in Bataan.”
For 2025, Celis said that PHirst is on track to open six to eight new projects under its different brands, covering about 100 hectares, more than 10,000 units and approximately P25 billion in sales value.
“These will include our maiden entry into Mindanao, which is another concrete step toward our envisioned nationwide presence,” he said.
“We are excited with the progress and anticipated completion of the infrastructure projects across the Philippines, particularly those in our current footholds in Calabarzon and Central Luzon. At the same time, we set our eyes on aggressively multiplying our presence in identified growth centers within the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,” Celis said.
In 2024, CPG’s first-home residential business recorded a 34-percent growth year-on-year, contributing P9.9 billion, or 68 percent, of total revenue.
CPG said that the robust growth reflects the sustained demand for affordable housing, which remains a cornerstone of the company’s business model.
PHirst achieved a significant milestone last April with the completion of approximately 15,000 homes across various sites nationwide and the successful turnover of 10,000 units to Filipino first-home buyers.
“This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to empowering hardworking Filipino families by providing quality homes and fostering vibrant, inclusive communities,” Antonio said.
