Learn how to evict squatters effectively

MANILA, Philippines — Property owners’ worst nightmare is for their property to be invaded by abusive squatters, professional squatting syndicates and unlawful occupants. With the clamor of those victimized by squatters and needs help to address such issue, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a program titled, “Resolving your Squatter Issues in Public and Private Properties” to be held from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. on June 30, July 1 and 4.

A precise knowledge of the correct legal remedies and practical non-legal ways are essential for a successful and speedy recovery and possession of property.

The program aims to protect property from unlawful occupants and to efficiently utilize ejectment actions and provisional remedies available in the speedy recovery of your land or building to avoid further damage from prolonged dispossession.

The lecture will include other special laws of great concern to land developers such as Republic Act 6552 (The Maceda Law) that governs sales on installment of real property, Presidential Decree 1517 (The Urban Land Reform Law), Republic Act 7279 (The Lina Law), Tenancy law and more.

The program will also include essential updates on “Government Initiatives vs. Professional Squatters and Squatting Syndicates and How Your Government Can Help Property Owners.”

This three-session training will be led by CGBP’s finest roster of lecturers: Lawyer Alvin Claridades; Gen. Efren Fernandez (Ret.) and Agustin Torres.

Registration is open to the general public. A must for property owners, land developers, lessors and brokers, bankers and financiers, prosecutors and judges, lawyers and consultants, property administrators, law enforcement officers, consultants, victims of squatting syndicates and anyone seeking effective solutions to illegal tenants, squatters, and dwellers.
