Business guide to the new FIST Law

MANILA, Philippines — Businesses and professionals should take advantage of the new Financial Institutions Strategic Transfer (FIST) Act that was signed into law last Feb. 16.

This training is designed to provide the mechanism, incentives and privileges for banks and all other financial institutions (FIs) to solve their problems and dispose non-performing assets. It will also cover the implementing rules and regulations that took effect on March 29.

For individuals, businesses, and foreign investors, learn how you can set up a FIST Corporation to buy assets at bargain prices with additional tax exemptions and fee privileges.

For lawyers, accountants, and business consultants, this can be a service you can add to your practice.

Registration is open to the general public. CGBP is an accredited training provider of the Securities and Exchange Commission for Corporate Governance and the Civil Service Commission. Attendees from the government are exempted from the P2,000-limit per day set by COA when attending training conducted by the private sector based on DBM circular 563 dated April 22, 2016.
