MANILA, Philippines — With the clamor of many business owners and decision-makers based in Visayas to have more world-class training available to them, the Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) will bring two of their best-selling programs to Seda Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu City, this month.
The first program is on “BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Medium and Large Taxpayers” to be held on Jan. 30. With the activation of the BIR special task force called Computerized Systems Evaluation Team (CSET) to monitor medium and large taxpayers, one can expect more active campaigns and stricter enforcement from the tax authorities. Attendees will gain knowledge and valuable insights on the regulations and rulings, presentation of the challenges of getting their CAS accreditation and tips on how to prepare for the actual system demonstration required by the BIR. This program is specially designed to help medium and large taxpayers hurdle and solve their CAS challenges, issues and most importantly, prevent those dreaded BIR penalties.
CGBP is also hosting a one-day training titled, “Incoterms 2020: Revised International Rules in the Interpretation of Trade Terms” on Jan. 31.
These programs are open to the general public. CGBP is an accredited training provider of the Civil Service Commission. Attendees from the government can earn points for their career advancement and are exempted from the P2,000 limit when attending training conducted by the private sector based on DBM Circular 563 dated April 22, 2016.
