Best practices in succession planning
MANILA, Philippines — To help business owners, board directors and management in preparing their winning leadership pipeline, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a pioneering program titled, “Best Practices in Succession Planning” on Sept. 6, 2019 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Resorts World Complex, Pasay City.
In this special seminar, attendees will learn how world-class organizations set up their succession planning process (SPP). Participants will be provided with specific and detailed steps of setting up an SPP with examples that one can tailor fit to their organization. This program will also cover the most common pitfalls of those who failed to put up an effective SPP and how one can avoid or improve their processes to achieve success in this important initiative. For those who have an SPP in place, this is an opportunity to align their goals with the featured best practices to make it work better for your organization. The SPP will also be discussed as one of the many aspects of an effective talent management process, and the other aspects such as training, coaching and development planning as they relate to SPP.
This training will feature Robin Michael Velasco, who was vice president of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. for HR from 2009 to 2015.
