Globe sets up myBusiness Corner to bolster digitization of MSMEs

MANILA, Philippines — To help businesses in their journey to digitalization, Globe myBusiness takes its partnership with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to the next level by establishing the Globe myBusiness Corner.

A dedicated area in select Globe Stores, it features an interactive entrepreneur’s corner and special one-on-one consultation sessions every Tuesday.

“As the MSME arm of Globe, it is our goal to help every enterprise reach its full potential through industry-specific tips, lessons from experts in the field, and business solutions tailored to every business owners' needs.  And part of that responsibility is to ensure that we are accessible nationwide,” said Cleo Santos, sales head for Globe myBusiness.

“Part of accessibility is the visibility of Globe myBusiness in Globe Stores, which is a major touchpoint of MSMEs for their inquiries. It plays a critical role in serving MSME customers through their journey, being a trusted business channel and an experience hub,” she said.

With this new addition to the Globe Store, entrepreneurs will be able to "explore" the Robot GIO, or Globe Information Officer, for a short business assessment.

During the session with GIO, entrepreneurs will be asked to answer a series of questions to help them identify their business’ digital level. There will also be available consultants every Tuesday who can discuss their answers with them.

Once done, entrepreneurs can proceed to "engage" with an interactive LED touch screen to assess and determine the solutions that fit their business and other important details.

Then, they can visit the "experience" table where they can try various Globe myBusiness solutions such as GSuite, Vehicle Tracker, Auto SMS Blaster, Prepaid Internet and Go Canvas.

The Globe myBusiness Corner is initially available in Globe Stores located in Greenbelt 4, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila and will soon be open in Ayala Cebu and Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Aside from the Globe myBusiness Corner, Globe myBusiness also introduces “Globe myBusiness Tuesdays” or the SME Negosyo Day to ensure continuous mentoring for entrepreneurs who may want to increase their business knowledge. 

This is on top of the workshops and information shared through Globe myBusiness Academy.

These MSME Experts will be on hand in all Globe Stores to assist entrepreneurs with their concerns, adding a personal touch to their Globe myBusiness experience. They can help business owners determine their digital acuity and discuss with them thoroughly the plans or solutions tailor-made for their needs and requirements.
