Robinsons Malls brings first Millenial Jeepney in Las Piñas

MANILA, Philippines — Robinsons Malls is bringing the first modernized jeepney in Las Piñas City in partnership with Yellowdot Transport Terminal Inc.

The commuting public will soon be introduced to the “Millenial Jeepney” where they can conveniently and comfortably ride the new and improved jeepneys from Robinsons Place Las Piñas to Calamba, Laguna and vice versa.

With a minimum fare of  P12, the Millenial Jeepney is the ugraded and modernized version of the country’s iconic jeepneys. Compared to the regular PUVs, the Millenial Jeepney is equipped with airconditioning and has a seating capacity of 23 with onboard WiFi and plenty of space to accommodate a maximum of 10 standing passengers. Each of the vehicles will be driven by highly-trained employees of Yellowdot to ensure the safety of its passengers. Stewards will also be present to give assistance to the customers as they travel.

The Millenial Jeepney routes  will be  activated in the streets of Las Piñas starting  Nov. 5, with the first dispatch starting at 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily. A total of 15 units will be utilized for the Las Piñas – Laguna route. This modernized PUVs will originate in Robinsons Place Las Piñas to travel to Calamba via the Alabang Zapote road as well as pass through SLEX from Filinvest Entry to Calamba Exit and vice versa. 

The introduction of the Millenial Jeepney is part of Robinsons Malls’ continuous service to its patrons. These iconic jeepneys is the newest addition to its growing transport system to offer a more convenient and faster way of commute to the public.
