Taxpayers’ guide vs excessive LGU taxation

MANILA, Philippines — The Center for Global Best Practices invites landowners and administrators, businesses, accountants, lawyers and even LGU officials to attend a one-day pioneering program titled, “Local Government and Real Estate Taxation,” on Friday, Aug. 17 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City. The program is open to the general public.

The program is designed to address the clamor of many taxpayers and public officials who wanted to understand local government taxation and real estate taxation from the LGU level. This is to empower its citizens to learn how to seek redress and find solutions when they feel over-burdened or saddled with multiple, excessive and unreasonable LGU fees and taxes.  

The program is designed to enlighten and educate local government officials with the right knowledge on LGU taxation so they can be more effective in their governance, administration and implementation of the LGU code.

Accountants attending this event will earn CPD credit units.
