Taiwan healthcare to be showcased at TAITRA confab

MANILA, Philippines — To showcase the best assets of Taiwan’s medical community, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will conduct the 2018 Taiwan Healthcare Industry Trade Meeting on Aug. 6, at the Manila Hotel,with an encore event at the SEDA Abreeza Hotel in Davao on Aug. 8. 

The conference carries the theme “ Enjoy a healthier life with Taiwan medical services” and promises to gather major players of the medical industry in both Taiwan and the Philippines, including hospitals, medical practitioners, healthcare companies, and their representatives.

Several insightful talks, featuring Taiwan’s best and brightest medical personnel, will tackle innovations in reproductive technology, hair restoration treatments, robotic surgery, health evaluations, corneal and cardiovascular surgery and treatments, precision medicine, and specialist training programs.

In the recent years, Taiwan has ranked third worldwide, only behind US and Germany, with 14 Taiwanese hospitals featuring in the list of the world’s best facilities.

Taiwan’s medical institutions also boast of some of the world’s best medical professionals, while its facilities are home to cutting-edge advanced medical equipment.

This dual advantage has led to the country being recognized as a leader in cardiovascular surgery, living donor liver transplantation, IVF, craniofacial reconstructive surgery, and joint replacement surgery.

Seminar participants  may register online and avail of any or all of these talks.

Admission is free, with the latter part of the conference being dedicated to medical consultations for attendees.
