MANILA, Philippines - Cirtek Holdings Philippines Corp., a Laguna-based technology company expects revenues to reach more than $100 million in 2017, 35 percent higher than the previous year.
To boost revenues, Cirtek said it is beefing up its international presence, strengthening manufacturing operations, and engaging in acquisitions, among others.
The company reported a 49 percent jump in net income to $7.6 million last year on the back of a 25 percent rise in revenues due to the growth of the company’s semiconductor and antenna business.
It captured three major contracts from three global semiconductor firms last year. Cirtek also began commercial production of spectrum and space efficient base station antennas.
“The company is evaluating the feasibility of CM (contract manufacturing) operation in China to take advantage of lower manufacturing and freight costs,” the company said.
Cirtek, through subsidiary Cirtek Business Technologies and Solutions or CBTS, has begun to provide wireless infrastructure solution to large enterprises such as high capacity broadband wireless access technologies.
Among its current and potential clients are malls, condominiums, residential developments, educational institutions, telecommunications and cable firms.
