DMCI Homes spins off property management unit
MANILA, Philippines – DMCI Homes, the property unit of the Consunji family, will focus on further developing its residential communities to better cater to customers’ needs.
“We want to improve customer services,” DMCI Holdings chairman and president Isidro Consunji said.
The recent appointment of executive Enrico Wong to head the company’s property management unit, DMCI Homes Property Management Corp., is part of this vision, he said.
DPMC manages and provides professional services to the completed projects of DMCI Homes. These services include administrative, maintenance, engineering, security, housekeeping, landscaping, among others.
“I am very excited to join DMCI Homes because it is a Triple A builder with a strong commitment to quality. I share their vision of providing middle-class Filipino families with residential communities that create quality lifestyle,” Wong said.
One of his core strengths is quality management because of his engineering training and operations management experience.
Wong has over 30 years of executive experience in the services and manufacturing industries, covering plant operations and engineering, sales and account management, strategic planning and budgeting, and others.
He is a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering from the University of the Philippines and obtained his Master in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business where he currently teaches operations management.
Prior to his appointment at DMCI Homes, Wong was managing director of Nuvali Steel Processing Services Inc. and vice president at San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp.
During his 26-year stint at San Miguel, Wong established and managed international plants in China and Indonesia. He also pioneered plastic pallets manufacturing, distribution and leasing in the Philippines.
