MANILA, Philippines - Branches of Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. (HSBC) in Metro Manila will be closed from November 18 to 19 due the 23rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
The dates have been declared as special non-working days in the National Capital Region as the Philippines will be hosting the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting.
"Cash and check payments received through our Easy Pay Machines on November 18-19 will be processed by the bank on November 20, 2015," HSBC said in an advisory.
The closed branches in Metro Manila will resume operations by November 20.
Meanwhile, HSBC branches in Cebu and Davao will be open with limited banking services from November 16 to 20.
"Please note that as Philpass (Philippine Payments and Settlements System) and PCHC (Philippine Clearing House Corporation) will be closed on November 18-19, all transactions received at these branches during these dates shall be value dated on November 20, 2015," HSBC said.
