LWUA marks 42nd year

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), the lead national agency for development of provincial water supply, recently marked its 42nd anniversary in a simple yet meaningful celebration program at the LWUA Multi-Purpose Hall in Balara, Quezon City.

Through the anniversary theme “Ensuring Water Security through Good Governance,” LWUA officials and employees, led by administrator Andres F. Ibarra, affirm the agency’s commitment to good governance and its tenets of accountability, transparency and adherence to the rule of law in the decision-making and dealing with its clientele and stakeholders.

LWUA invited commissioner Rainier B. Butalid of the Governance Commission on Government-owned and Controlled Corporations (GCG) as guest of honor and speaker for the affair, which culminated in the giving out of loyalty service awards to deserving LWUA officials and employees.
