Yellow Cab to expand to UAE

MANILA, Philippines - Max’s Group, Inc. (MGI) is expanding its pizza brand to the United Arab Emirates with plans to build 10 Yellow Cab Pizza stores in the UAE within the next five years.

The company recently signed a development agreement with Middle East-based Cartoon Fashion Group for the expansion of Yellow Cab in UAE.

Under the Max’s Group, Yellow Cab Pizza Co. is a leading player in the local pizza segment best known for its great-tasting New York style pizza.

It currently operates 112 branches in the Philippines and six in Qatar.

The UAE expansion is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its overseas presence.

“This is aligned with our thrust of expanding our overseas presence into new markets,” Max’s Group president and CEO Robert Trota said.

He said Cartoon Fashion Group has a proven track record and solid reputation in the UAE, making the company the best partner for Max’s in its endeavor.

Established in Dubai in 1988, the Cartoon Fashion Group has grown to be one of the UAE’s largest and most successful retail and hospitality consortiums.

Under its fold, it has numerous well-known international brands such as Adidas, Ed Hardy and French Connection, in more than 25 outlets across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
