Insular Life introduces new product

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Insular Life, the largest Philippine-owned life insurance company, introduces a new financial product that offers investors better returns than current traditional savings options.

I-Peso Preferred Plus is a single-pay product that provides fixed annual returns of as much as 3.75 percent compared to that of time deposits, which presently stands at 1.125 percent and less than 1 percent for regular savings.

“This is a rare opportunity to yield better returns than what your funds may be currently earning.  To add to that is the security that the investor will get back his principal at the end of the five-year maturity period.” said Alijeffty Gonzales, head of Insular Life’s Business Development Unit.

Depending on the amount invested I-Peso Preferred Plus provides returns from 2.25 percent to 3.75 percent every year, for five years.

I-Peso Preferred Plus also provides insurance coverage.

“If anything happens to the investor, the family is assured they will benefit from the investment, and the money put in by their loved one is put to good use,” said Gonzales.

I-Peso Preferred Plus is processed on a “guaranteed issue offer”, which means an applicant will not have to go through regular medical evaluation before he can secure a policy.

Insular Life reported consolidated revenues of P19.3 billion last year, up seven percent from the previous year, with insurance revenues accounting for 65 percent of total revenues, making it one of the most financially stable insurance companies in the country today.
