Vista Land to launch 5th university condo
MANILA, Philippines - Vista Residences, the condominium arm of Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., said it expects to generate P1.7 billion in sales from its fifth development under the company’s university project series set to break ground late next year.
Vista Residences said it is preparing to break ground with its latest development called Vista Taft 1344 by November next year.
Vista Taft 1344 is set to rise along Taft Ave. in Manila, right across the University of the Philippines, Philippine General Hospital, and minutes away to De La Salle University.
“As the demand for clean and secure student housing options continues to grow year after year, Vista Residences is at the forefront of developing homes away from home for the ever growing student population – giving them the advantage of unmatched accessibility by being near their schools while enjoying a kind of accommodation one cannot find in a typical dormitory in the city,” the unit of the country’s largest homebuilder said.
Vista Residences’ university project series is aimed at providing the collegiate population in the Metro with quality homes.
Aside from the upcoming Vista Taft 1344, Vista Residences also has four other university projects – Crown Tower University Belt, 878 España, Vista Taft, and Vista 309 Katipunan.
Crown Tower University Belt and 878 Espana are both located in the University Belt area in Manila and are in close proximity to University of Santo Tomas, the oldest Catholic educational institution in the Philippines.
Vista Taft, meanwhile, is situated along Taft Ave., right beside De La Salle University.
Rising in the middle of northern Metro Manila’s educational capital is Vista 309 Katipunan, across Ateneo De Manila University and in close distance to Miriam College and University of the Philippines Diliman.
Vista Residences said Crown Tower University Belt was completed and turned over to residents in 2011 while construction of 878 España, Vista Taft and Vista 309 Katipunan are ongoing.
Vista Taft 1344 is eyed for completion by December 2019. The project will have 759 units with each unit having an average size of about 21 square meters.
“The greatest benefit of living near your school is that it gives you time to focus more on your studies. Since transportation is not a problem, it gives you an ample amount of rest time and the right amount of energy to keep up with your school activities without having to worry about curfew or the availability of vehicles for you to get home,” Vista Residences division head Elizabeth M. Kalaw said.
