MANILA, Philippines - The peso improved against the dollar on Wednesday, closing at 43.66 from the previous day's 43.77.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $687.6 million, higher than the $546.5 million posted on Tuesday.
The peso opened Wednesday at 43.76.
