Pakistanis seeking biz opportunities in Phl

MANILA, Philippines - Pakistani businessmen are looking into investment opportunities spread over a number of sectors in the Philippines.

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) said 13 business delegates from the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will be visiting Manila on August 28 for business networking. The FPCCI will be led by President Zakaria Usman, who will meet PCCI President Alfredo Yao and Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Gregory Domingo.

The Pakistani businessmen are looking at opportunities in the areas of plastic household and thermoware products; equipment and investment for renewable energy; petrochemicals; automotive industry; logistics; handicrafts industry; export of clean cotton; leather, garments and textile; ceramics; agricultural products; export of salt of all kinds for industrial and domestic uses; and trading of food products.
