MANILA, Philippines - The peso moved sideways against the dollar midday Tuesday, settling at 43.865 from the previous day's 43.86.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing Sytem amounted to $360.8 million in the morning, lower than the $571.4 million posted the same period on Monday.
The peso opened Tuesday at 43.87.
